A Family Photograph

Hello everyone, today I'm going to write about a photograph of my family, a photo of my last vacation, this photo was taken like 3 weeks ago, me and my family were in Salto del Petrohué in Puerto Montt, that day was the last day of our vacations there, I think that we could meet more places, but we didn’t make the most of our time there, I really want to go again.

The people that appears in the photograph are a certain part of my family, me (left-hand side), my mom at my side, my aunt (her sister) at her side, and my uncle my mom’s brother, at right hand side), In Puerto Montt the weather is too cold, that makes that all of us worn too much clothes to keep warm.

I like this photograph because makes me remind that days in Puerto Montt, in addition, the background of the photo, with Osorno’s Volcano, the rocks, the Petrohué river and all the vegetation of that place, makes a good looking photograph, that trip was too relaxing and I could meet very places that I've never seen before, places that I want to see again soon in a next trip to the south part of my country.

My Hobbies

Today I'm going to talk about two of my favorite hobbies, Music and Magic.

I started to play music when I was twelve years old, In that time, in my school the Music teacher made a group of children that wanted to learn to play instruments, there I started to learn to play guitar, and with time, dedication and practice I have improved my skills, and with the time I have learned to play another instruments like Bass, Ukulele, and a little bit of drums and piano. About Magic. I just started like nine months ago, and i have learned different tricks in this time, but there's too much to improve with practice.

I Started to Play music because my dad and my uncles play different instruments, and I wanted to be part of them playing music too. And I started with magic because a partner of my class was playing with a deck of cards doing some shuffles and some tricks. I see it and I thought "I want to learn that" and then I bought my first deck of cards and I started to learn.

For music, obviously you need equipment, because you can’t play if you don't have the instrument, but if you play beatbox you only need your mouth, you can do it in your house, on the street, everywhere and you can do it with other people, that’s a nice thing in this hobbies. For magic, you need some more specific things like the deck of cards and something more that I can't say

I like music because I can express myself playing it, I can express that I’m happy or that I’m sad, I can do beautiful sounds that makes me feel better and it's something that I know I can't lose and always going to be there. And I like magic because is an activity that makes people believe in impossible things, that makes me happy and  makes people happy too, that’s what I like of this hobbies.

In this blog I will write about my experience doing blogs in English level 3. I will refer to the next point, writing a comment for each one.

-What you think about the experience in general?

About the experience on this class, I think that it was gratifying, because the blog's exercise it's a very good way to improve our skills, and the topics of each blog were too different, that made that the blogs were funny to read and comment with my class partners.

-How much you feel your writing skills have developed?

I feel that my writing skills have improved too much since the beginning of this class, i feel that my vocabulary improved too. In certain blogs i tried to add some new words that i didn´t know before, and that makes improve my English vocabulary.

-What you would like to include in the future?

Something that I would like to include in the future could be some activities out of a simply blog on a computer, I mean, a blog, but, outside of a pc. Something like, an actuation of a blog, someone tells the story of the blog during another person’s act the thing that happen in the story. I think it could be funny.

-What else you would like to write about?

For a next blog I would like to write about something related with architecture, about someone important in this topic, or something related with magic, or music, or comics,


That it's all that I want to say about this class, I think that Ronda is a good teacher and my partners are very nice, and I’m happy to know them here.

Plataforma Arquitectura is a translated version of the English website called Archdaily, on this website you can find everything about projects, news, events and the most important things related to the architecture of these days. if you want to know about some project or anything related with architecture, some architect or some company or architect’s studio, everything translated to Spanish, this website is for you,

This website has a lot of sections, about the projects, news, articles, products, interviews, events and more, every section has an own page on the site, that makes an intuitive and easy way to explore the site. I visit this website not more often, but usually when I need to investigate for some project or if I simply want to read about some interesting new project or another topic related with architecture. I like this site because always has the most actual news about my career and it has always something interesting to read.

Why I couldn't come to class

Everything starts when I was going to class, I was waiting the bus, and, everything change there, a car stopped in front of the bus, that makes that the bus and the car get crashed each other, or that was something that I thought, I closed my eyes, waiting for the sound of the crash, but then I realized that the car and the bus wasn't there , I look around and the I look to the sky, the bus was above a man who was flying and the car was linked to a plane in form of a bat that was flying to the skies, I thought " what the hell is happening?!" , and then I realized that the persons who saves the bus and the car , believe it or not, that persons were Batman and Superman, then, they put down the vehicles  and Superman told me "Hello boy, are you surprised?", I couldn't say anything more than "oh yeah, but, I need to go to the university, Ronda is waiting for us" , then Batman said "oh, Ronda Haverland? She is a really friend of mine, I’m going to talk with her, you can't go to her class today, we need you to be part of the justice league for today", that was the most amazing thing that ever happened to me, an irreplaceable opportunity, that’s why I said, "let's go guys", and Batman put me on the Bat-Plane and we travel all that day with two of my favorite superheroes.

A photograph i like.

My cousin took this picture back in February 2017 in San Sebastian Beach in our last trip before I enter to University of Chile. In particular I really like this picture because that time was very peaceful, a time when I travel with my mother, my cousins and my grandparents. In that trip I could rest too much of the city life and all the things that comes with it, the sound of cars, trucks, the public transport, all the acoustic contamination of Santiago wasn´t there. And I miss that time.

I like trips, I like to visit places, I’m a person who loves to travel and visit different places, in fact, I just had planned to travel to very much places with my family and my friends. At these days I haven't been to many places in  my country and obviously haven't been to many places in the world, but that will change soon. And I will photograph every trip in the future.

Why is this film important to you?

This film is important to me because it talks about superation, talks about never give up, and how parents can do everything for there sons, and is very important for my situation the first time i seen it, me and my mother went out from my father's house, and my mother did the most as possible to give me the things i needed, the same as the main character of the film

Why do you think other people should watch it?

I think that other people should watch it because is an amazing movie in too much senses, the music, the story, the interpretation of Will Smith is one of the best interpretations that i've seen in my life, and i think that the relationship between Will and Jaden Smith makes the sense of the movie more realistic because in the reality they are father and son like the main characters in the movie. and that makes that the movie touch inside of you, because you feel everything that Chris Gardner (Will Smith) feels on the movie.
